The 1‑Page Growth System Audit Every FMO & Medicare Agency Should Run Q1 2026

Most FMOs and Medicare agencies don’t need another 40‑page strategy deck for 2026.
They need one clear view of where their Medicare growth system is leaking.

In our work with FMOs and multi‑agent agencies, three areas almost always determine whether next year looks meaningfully different:

  • What you own in search
  • What funnels you actually run
  • What your system tracks by default

Search: What will we own in 2026?

Start with a basic question:
“Where do agents and beneficiaries already look when they have problems we solve?”

For most organizations, it’s still Google.

Use this checklist as a sanity check:

  • Do we have a clear list of markets & states we want to dominate in search?
  • Do we know the exact questions agents and beneficiaries Google before they talk to us?
  • Does our website have pages or articles that directly answer those questions?
  • Are we consistently publishing or updating content around those terms?
  • Do we track leads & deals from organic search, not just “traffic”?

If you’re checking “no” more than twice, your constraint is probably awareness / discoverability. You’re invisible where people are already looking.

Funnels: Which video funnels will we run?

Most Medicare organizations talk about “doing more content,” but very few have clear, named funnels.

You need at least two:

  • An Agent Recruitment Funnel for experienced agents
  • A Beneficiary / Member Funnel for consumers

For the agent funnel, ask:

  • Do we have a specific video/VSL for experienced agents, not just generic hiring posts?
  • Does it explain how we’re different on contracts, leads, support, and growth path?
  • Does it send agents to a filtered application + calendar, not just a contact form?
  • Do we know our lead volume and cost per agent lead from this funnel?

For the beneficiary funnel:

  • Do we have at least one education-focused video funnel for beneficiaries?
  • Does it lead to a clear next step (call, appointment, event)?
  • Do we know our lead volume and cost per beneficiary lead from this funnel?

If you don’t have a clear video funnel for one of these groups, that’s probably your biggest conversion gap.

Tracking: What will our system track by default?

Here’s a simple rule:
If leadership can’t see it on one screen, it doesn’t really exist.

Run this checklist:

  • Can we see lead source for every agent / beneficiary lead (search, funnel, referral, etc.)?
  • Can we see number of touches (email, SMS, calls) before contact?
  • Do we track appointments / interviews / enrollments by source?
  • Do we review one growth dashboard at least monthly in leadership?
  • Do we know our cost per producing agent and/or cost per enrollment?

Wherever you’re checking the most “no” boxes is where your 2026 effort should go first. Fix one section at a time: Search → Funnels → Tracking.
